Use Google Encrypted search into Chrome

Google has just launch Google Encrypted aka a safe way to search.

You can, in few steps, configure your Google Chrome to use it as the default way to search.

Open Google Chrome, go to ‘Options’ then to the ‘Basics’ tab.

Go to the ‘Search’ section and click on ‘Manage’.

Click on ‘Add’ and enter the settings below :

  • Name : Google Encrypted
  • Keywork : google
  • URL : https://encrypted.google.com/search?{google:RLZ}{google:acceptedSuggestion}{google:originalQueryForSuggestion}sourceid=chrome&ie={inputEncoding}&q=%s

Then click on it and on ‘Make Default’, ‘Close’.

Now if you type directly in the address bar to search something, it will directly use Google Encrypted.
